hm..I understand some of the problems now. Since wincustomize is a very large community, why don't they held a contest only for wincustomize.

Sounds like a nice idea - how would it work?
or what about an annual awards gala for best skins in each library?

There should be a prize for top skins.

I can't skin, I like to watch. Very interesting.

Prizes should be nice, but I think it would be fun, and refreshing. I'm kind of bore after awhile. Nothing special is going on, new skins come and go. I think there are some other skinners feel the same too. After they became an Apprentice, Journeyman, even Master they have some special rights. So what? "Seriously though, what does it matter? The only added value I can think of are bragging right." posted by a Journeyman https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=201992#202156. Well that's just my ideas. I still love skinning

That really would be nice...I would love to participate in something like that:)
Windowblind Skins, Icons etc., that would be pretty fun

I can't imagine 'Skinning' being more public than this website...I mean talk about awareness, this site receives around 2 million uniques a month

I can't wait to see all the skinners in WC submit their best skin

But don't know if it ever happen.

I think it would be pretty cool! I was thinking it might be cool to have the winner of the skinning contest overall port their skin to a user interface for WinC. That would be the ultimate recognition of talent I think. Either way, any sort of competition would be smurfing good fun!
